A little bit parent, A little bit teacher, and all the way Best Friend! That’s grandparents for you. This week at CPS GS Eearly Years segment we celebrated Grandparents Day with our tiny tots and their loving grandparents.
Engaging in a blend of activities the grandparents delightfully shared little anecdotes about their grandchildren. They proudly shared memories of fun times spent with their little nuggets of joy during their growing years leaving everyone feeling nostalgic and overwhelmed.
The relationship between the grandparents and grandchildren is like a glittering and shining star which continues to grow and brighten their lives, lighten their moods and is a never ending source of divine love! Their own personal pool of happiness and joy. This was evident as the atmosphere was bright and happy and everyone felt cloaked in the combined love of all the grandparents present and the grandchildren looking contented and happy.
Everyone sportingly participated in games like I spy and Screenplay and hummed songs of the yesteryears as they cracked clues to identify the songs and movies. The spirits were high and the mood was ecstatic. A morning well spent amidst games and laughter and lovely memories!
