From Imagination to Page: Grade 3’s Story Writing Adventure @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

“Every child is a storyteller waiting to be inspired”

Our Grade 3 young blooming writers recently embarked on an exciting Project-Based Learning (PBL) adventure with the “Story Writing Booklet” project. This innovative approach to literacy education empowered our students to craft their own unique stories, complete with original themes, imaginative characters, vivid settings, intriguing conflicts, and satisfying solutions.

The project reached its creative peak when students made character puppets using popsicle sticks, bringing their stories to life in a hands-on, engaging way. With newfound confidence, each young writer proudly shared their tale with the class, demonstrating their creativity and budding public speaking skills.

This PBL initiative not only nurtured our students’ creative writing abilities but also significantly boosted their self-confidence. By participating in every stage of the storytelling process, from the initial idea to the final presentation, our young writers honed their skills in narrative structure, character development, and problem-solving.
