Every journey is an adventure: whether we travel through stories in books or explore the real world around us, the experience enriches our minds and sparks our curiosity.
In an exciting and educational field trip, our CIE 2 students visited the ICF Railway Museum in Chennai. With wide eyes and eager hearts, the young explorers embarked on a journey through the history of Indian railways. Split into small groups, each team had the opportunity to see old locomotives, learn about the evolution of trains, and discover fascinating facts about railway engineering. The kids also watched some clips that showcased the marvel of Indian railways.
The visit to the ICF Railway Museum was both educational and incredibly fun. Our students gained a lot of knowledge about the history and mechanics of trains while experiencing a piece of India’s heritage up close. This field trip excellently combined learning with real-life experiences, creating a perfect blend of education and enjoyment and leaving lasting impressions on young minds.
