On 11th August 2022, the students of upper secondary took part in a guest lecture which helped them explore the aspect of design thinking.
The guest speaker, Mr. Sathyaseelan is a credited industrial designer who graduated with a masters in industrial design from IIT Delhi. He is the Vice President of Ashok leyland and his designs have won awards and been commercially successful. He was inspired to choose design due to his keen interest in solving problems with creativity.
The session helped students explore a less commonly chosen career aspect and inspired them to learn how to solve problems by thinking outside the box. The session opened a prospective path for students and helped them understand the necessity of creativity in the world.
