Learning numbers with fun activities is an engaging and tactile experience! Children of EY 2 were all excited to make a new craft as part of learning a new number with a craft activity.
Using strips of paper to create a caterpillar and counting them together was an engaging way to introduce young learners to numbers in a fun and interactive way. This activity helped the children as Counting the paper strips helped reinforce number recognition and Adding features to the caterpillar’s face encouraged imagination and creativity. Assembling the caterpillar helped develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The fact that they can personalize their caterpillar adds an element of pride and ownership, making the learning even more meaningful and memorable.
