Celebrating International Yoga Day at CPSGS TMZ

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” – The Bhagavad Gita

CPS Global School celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, with enthusiasm and unity. Yoga, a holistic practice, enhances physical strength, flexibility, mental clarity, and emotional stability. Our session began with the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar), a dynamic sequence energizing us for the day. Next, we practiced the Tree Pose (Vrikshasana), improving balance and focus. The Butterfly Pose (Baddha Konasana) followed, providing a deep stretch and easing tension. We concluded with the Corpse Pose (Shavasana), achieving profound relaxation. This celebration highlighted the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Yoga fosters harmony between mind and body, and practicing together as a community brought joy and peace. For students, yoga enhances concentration and reduces stress, leading to improved academic performance and emotional resilience. The whole school, including teachers, participated, making the day truly special. As we move forward, let’s carry the mindfulness and positive energy from today’s session into our daily lives, remembering that yoga extends beyond the mat into our everyday actions.
