We CPS Groups of Institutions are thrilled to announce that we are entering a significant milestone—our 15th year of shaping young minds and fostering academic brilliance! To begin this exciting year, we held a grand celebration for the Investiture Ceremony of the 2024-25 batch students on 27th July, 2024, CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, along with CPS Global School, Anna Nagar. This ceremony marks not just a transition but the beginning of new leadership and responsibility among our bright stars!
Life, the LIGHT of divinity, wisdom, intellect, and good works are all manifestations of the symbolic nature of the lamp. The Investiture ceremony began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the lamp by our dignitaries on the dais, followed by the prayer song by the enthralling CPS Global School choir. Ms. Margaret, Team Lead, CPS Global School, Anna Nagar, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest for the day to the beaming spectators. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Honorary Consul of The United Republic of Tanzania for Southern India; Hon’ble Mr. Krishna N. Pimple the Chief Guest and the Hon’ble Prof. J. Ranganathan the Guest of Honour. The much-eagerly awaited moment of mounting the School and House flags was the notable part of the ceremony. With pride and responsibility, the Student Council leader marched into the auditorium carrying the School flag forward and mounted it, flaunting in all its glory. It was time for the house flags to shine. The house prefects of all four houses—Alphard, Canopus, Diadem, and Plasma—handed over their flags, marching to their respective house mentors, thereby mounting the flags. This eagerly anticipated moment was met with cheers from the parents and students.
Ms. Sreedevi Varakavi Head Of School, Thirumazhisai addressed the leaders highlighting the significance of role and responsibility by quoting John Adams quote:
“IF YOUR ACTIONS INSPIRE OTHERS TO DREAM MORE, LEARN MORE,
DO MORE AND BECOME MORE, YOU ARE A LEADER.”

The exciting moment of pride was shared when every student council member was conferred with the prestigious badge, sash, and the appointment letter from the dignitaries. To mark this beginning, the chief guest administered the oath to the council members. After being inducted, the junior head boys, junior head girls, and the head boys and head girls pledged their loyalty in their response speeches. Our chief guest addressed the Leaders with Heartiest congratulations to our student council members.The inspiring words and presence of the guests made the event truly memorable, marking a significant milestone in the students and school’s journey towards excellence.Ms Jagadeeswari, Cultural coordinator, Thirumazhisai placed on record her gratitude, thanking the audience and the team for making the event a grand success. The event was drawn to a close with the National Anthem.
