The CPSGS community came alive with festive cheer as the Christmas spirit unfolded over a week-long celebration from December 16 to 21. The entire school community immersed itself in a series of creative, joyful, and meaningful activities that highlighted the season’s essence.
The festivities began with students expressing their dreams and wishes through letters to Santa and creating beautiful Arts and crafts decorations that adorned classrooms, corridors, and the grand Christmas tree. As the week progressed, culinary creativity took center stage, with students preparing delightful Fire-Free Desserts, sharing both the joy of teamwork and the sweetness of their treats.
Midweek, the focus shifted to generosity and kindness as students participated in the A Gift to Someone activity, thoughtfully choosing gifts for individuals outside their family and friends. This heartfelt initiative encouraged them to reflect on the value of selflessness and the joy of giving.
Cultural exploration followed, with students showcasing Christmas Traditions from Around the World. From European customs to South American celebrations, the activity offered an enriching glimpse into the diversity of global festivities. Creativity flourished as students penned touching verses in Christmas Poetry, with selected works recited during the grand finale.
The celebrations culminated in a vibrant Special Assembly filled with joyous performances. Teachers’ carols, students’ dances, and a captivating theatrical act brought the magic of Christmas to life. Students’ poetic recitations and the much-anticipated Santa’s Dance added an extra spark, leaving the audience spellbound.
The week-long celebration left everyone with cherished memories, a deeper sense of togetherness, and the timeless values of love, kindness, and shared joy.
It was a Christmas to remember—a true testament to the spirit of the season!
