A visit to my school lab @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

From “A for All about me” to “S for Safety,” our thematic lessons provide a fun structure for each week’s learning. In thematic activities, children learn how to learn. Because their curiosity takes the driver seat, they are shown how to follow a topic from subject to subject. They collect more and more information along the way.

Our EY2 children were taken for a surprise visit to the school laboratory where they witnessed respiration of plants. Children learnt how plants breathe in water with the help of sunlight, through experiment using tube and light and they had a concrete understanding of the process of respiration in plants. They discovered that plants need fresh air to survive and carry out their life processes. They will now remember to give plants the fresh air they need and watch them thrive.
