Water Wonders: Exploring Sink or Float @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

Exploring the world through fun activities is one of the best ways for young children to learn. One of the most exciting and simple science activities for kindergarteners is a “Sink or Float” experiment. It’s hands-on and engaging and helps children learn basic concepts about the physical world around them. The concept of sinking or floating is a great way to teach young kids about the properties of objects and materials. When something sinks, it goes down to the bottom of the water. When something floats, it stays on top of the water.

Children were given different objects made of different materials to identify if that object would sink or float. These objects were tested by children, and they came up with a conclusion. It was a fun activity where children learned about different materials and how it works with water.
