In our early years segment, we recently had the pleasure of witnessing an extraordinary socio-dramatic play performed by our EY2 children, themed around “Fascinating Festivals.” This vibrant performance not only showcased the creativity and imagination of our little ones but also highlighted the rich tapestry of cultures and traditions celebrated around India.
As the play unfolded, the EY2 children transformed into enthusiastic actors, embodying characters from different cultures. Their costumes were a feast for the eyes, representing the vibrant colours and intricate designs associated with each festival. From dancing to traditional music to engaging in imaginative role-play, they brought each celebration to life, captivating their audience with their enthusiasm and energy. Through socio-dramatic play, children not only learn about the world around them but also develop critical thinking, empathy, and communication skills. This play about festivals was a perfect example of how learning can be engaging, fun, and meaningful.
