Unleashing the magic of symmetry @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Introducing the kids to the line of symmetry is so much fun. You can pique their interest and create a foundation for future math and art exploration by including them in the stimulating activities. Early symmetry instruction can foster children’s creativity, fine motor abilities, and visual awareness. Beginning with the task the children were Encouraged to observe the reflection and recognize the symmetrical elements of the shapes by holding the paper along the symmetry line in the mirror. Then the children showed a lovely symmetrical artwork made by the paint drips when they unfolded the paper after folding it in half along a vertical line and by gently pressing down. Then creating the reflection with ice cream sticks was something they enjoyed doing. The children developed a deeper understanding of the concept through practical application.
