“The reigning mythology of the Northwest is nature, and the reigning mythology of the Northeast corridor is culture.”
The Northeastern States also known as “Paradise Unexplored” is known for its great ethnic and religious diversity. The Northeastern region is the easternmost region of India representing both a geographic and political administrative division of the country. It comprises eight states— Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura (commonly known as the “Seven Sisters”), and the “brother” state of Sikkim. Learners of CAIE 4 A & B enthusiastically participated in the group activity “Role play – The Beauty of Northeastern Paradise” Where they discussed the selected Northeastern state with their peers, dressed up like the people of that chosen state, and presented the culture and tradition on the same.
“Although they are placed back, they never failed to make us win. So, respect the north-eastern states, without whom, the country can never be a whole.”
