Tearing is fun @ CPSGS, ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog
Tearing paper is an excellent fine motor activity to help our kids build and strengthen the muscles in their little hands. It also develops the needed hand-eye coordination and improves the ability to focus on the task. These skills provide the foundation to enable kids to grasp and write with a pencil or crayon or use scissors.
A ‘Tearing and Pasting Activity’ was conducted in our EY1 class, in which children were seen tearing an orange coloured paper into tit bits delightfully and pasting them on the orange fruit sketch patiently– which even helped them to recall the letter O formation and its sound.
