“Serve with Pride, Lead with confidence, Inspire to impact lives”
We at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai were thrilled to announce the successful completion of our student council elections for the positions of Head Boy, Head Girl, Junior Head Boy, Junior Head Girl, House Prefects, Vice House Prefects, and other key roles. This year, our election process was marked by a refreshing blend of traditional practices and enthusiastic student participation.
In a delightful return to tradition, our elections employed the classic ballot paper method. Students revealed in this nostalgic approach, enjoying the hands-on experience of casting their votes with paper and pen. This traditional method not only added a sense of authenticity to the process but also fostered a deeper appreciation for the democratic principles that underpin our student council.
One of the standout features of this year’s election was the inclusion of candidates in the vote verification process. Embracing democracy an Indian tradition, we allowed candidates to be present inside the vote booth to oversee the verification of voter counts. This transparent approach ensured that all candidates felt confident in the integrity of the process and provided them with a unique opportunity to witness democracy in action.
The election was managed with great care and precision by our dedicated Physical Education (PE) department, who took on the crucial role of the election commission. Their meticulous planning and execution ensured a smooth and orderly voting process, reflecting their commitment to upholding the standards of our school’s democratic procedures.
The selection process for the main posts was conducted through comprehensive interviews. Our panel consisted of the Head of School, all Coordinators, Team Leaders (TLs), and members of the PE department. Their collective expertise and fairness in evaluating candidates ensured that the selection was both rigorous and impartial, leading to the appointment of deserving individuals to the student council.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the duty-in-charge teachers who played a pivotal role in the smooth execution of Election Day. Their dedication and effective management contributed significantly to the success of the election process, demonstrating their unwavering support for student engagement and leadership.
With the election behind us, we eagerly anticipate the new energy and ideas that our elected Head Boy, Head Girl, Junior Head Boy, Junior Head Girl, Sports & Wellness Captain, House Prefects, Vice House Prefects, and other student leaders will bring to our school. Their leadership will undoubtedly foster a vibrant and dynamic student community, and we look forward to supporting them as they embark on their new roles.
Thanks to everyone involved—students, teachers, and administration staff—for making this election a memorable and meaningful event. Wish a successful year ahead to our newly elected student leaders!
