The hands-on experience with the guitar provided CIE 4 students an engaging exploration of string instruments. They discovered how sound is generated through vibrating strings, with pitch influenced by the string’s length, tension, and thickness. Shorter, tighter, or thinner strings produce higher pitches, while longer, looser, or thicker strings yield lower tones. Additionally, students learned how the guitar’s body amplifies these vibrations, enhancing the sound as the plucked strings resonate and fill the space with music.
