Dental health is a vital part of overall well-being, and what better way to introduce young children to the importance of oral hygiene than with a fun and interactive session with a dentist? Recently, our EY Segment had the privilege of hosting a guest lecture by a friendly parent and dentist Ms. Heena Sharma who left our little ones smiling brighter than ever!
The session started with a warm welcome from the children, who were curious and excited to meet the special guest. The dentist introduced herself and shared the ABCs of dental health, setting the tone for an engaging and lively session.
To help the children understand the right way to care for their teeth, the dentist brought along a tooth model and a toothbrush. Demonstrating proper brushing and flossing techniques became a delightful spectacle as the kids eagerly participated, giggling and mimicking the brushing motions. The children learned how important it is to brush twice a day, especially after eating sweets, and how flossing keeps those tiny gaps between teeth clean.
As a token of appreciation, the kids of EY handed over a beautiful thank-you card handcrafted with love and creativity by our EY2 and EY3 children.
This interactive guest lecture was more than just a fun event—it was an opportunity to instill lifelong habits in young minds. By making dental care approachable and engaging, the session helped children understand that taking care of their teeth is both important and enjoyable.
At Early Years, we believe in learning beyond the classroom. This visit from the dentist was a perfect example of how hands-on experiences can create lasting impressions. Here’s to brighter smiles and healthier teeth for all!
