The best way to learn the intricacies of a language is through songs. This is the reason why we might have forgotten something that we learnt through text in the past, but are able to sing the lyrics of a song that we enjoyed perfectly even after many years. Songs play a major role in developing the vocabulary and communication skills of children. Songs have been known to have a positive effect on the brain and is a great boost for the self confidence of the singer. CPS Global School convened the Sing Along for the ELP learners on the 15th of December 2022, to instil in them a love for music and to give an opportunity for the students and their parents to strengthen their bond through songs. The joyful event had the students rendering a Prayer song along with six other foot tapping numbers. It was a pleasure to watch the happy glow on the parents’ faces as they joined their little ones in the singing. Through such events CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai keeps the parents in the loop regarding the various teaching methods that our facilitators use to teach. Happy laughter and mirth resonated in the corridors of our school in abundance long after the event was over.
