‘Phone Free Week’@CPSGS ANN

“We’re living an era where capturing moments using our phones is more important than actually living these moments with whoever is beside us”

You’re busy. Your kids are busy. Everyone is busy. Too busy. But are we, really? Advances in technology bring wonder and efficiency to our world, but they also breed attachment. Carving out time to free ourselves from our phones helps us regain a lot of quality time to spend with family and friends.

We at our EY segment celebrated ‘Phone Free Week’ where our kids were challenged not to use phones and   have to talk to friends and family and indulge in quality time other than ‘You tubing’ and crushing candies! We gave them a timeline of activities they can do with their family to spend their time efficiently and added new skills to repertoire. We are so proud of our tiny tots for reducing their smartphone usage and getting physically active this week.

If the inventor of the iPhone thought it was a worthwhile experience to unplug from technology every now and then, maybe we should too.
