To take us through this, we had with us Masoom – one Young Indian along with their performing artists ‘Chorus’. The team had put up an excellent skit using various sensory notions to put across a sensitive topic ‘Safe and Unsafe Touch’. It was a great morning for the students of CAIE 1-5, as each one of them was taught what was right and what was wrong when it comes to self-protection.
The campaign’s prime objective is to educate kids to speak their minds and share their problems/ worries at different levels. It is all about making them aware of safe and unsafe touch (child sexual abuse); encouraging them to speak up when they feel unsafe and insecure.
To be in our children’s memories tomorrow, we have to be in their lives today!
