Making poha pongal @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Pongal is a well-known South Indian harvest festival. Beyond celebration, it was an appreciation of what we have been grateful for and a stepping stone into future prosperity.

Our EY 3 young learners celebrated pongal by doing fireless cooking. Our tiny tots learned about harvesting sugarcane and how jaggery is made. They mixed poha, jaggery, cashew, raisins and made a delicious pongal. They prepared their own pongal and enjoyed having it together with their friends.
