If immersing in a captivating task by exuding boundless enthusiasm is an art, the ELP learners of CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai are to be deemed as the Picasso of it. And this time, the activity centred around clay and the learners found solace in kneading and moulding all day. Guided by their teachers, they were engaged in an activity that enabled them to touch and feel the malleability of the clay dough by playfully pressing, poking, and shaping it into various forms. Clay Modelling activity held on the 19th of July, 2023 at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai exuded boundless enthusiasm. It is a remarkable sensory activity that nurtures a child’s motor skills that instil a sense of control, all while igniting the flames of creativity within their young minds. The learners, paying heed to the instructions of the teachers, passionately ventured into the realm of imagination, moulding the play dough into amusing animal shapes that embellished both charm and charisma. The joyous atmosphere reverberated with laughter as the learners gleefully squished and trampled the clay, revelling in the funky sensation beneath their fingers.
With unwavering encouragement and gentle direction, the young visionaries unleashed their stunning creativity, giving life to their unique ideas. Each tactile little hand worked deftly and efficiently, transforming the clay into marvellous creations that danced vividly with their hearts’ desires and cherished fantasies. From delightful fish and graceful cats to majestic camels, whimsical cacti, loyal dogs, and playful monkeys, their artistic prowess knew no bounds.
The gallery of masterpieces stood as a testament to the blossoming confidence and innate talent of these young artists, beaming with pride at their awe-inspiring creations.
Clay modelling not only provided a canvas for artistic expression but also paved the way for invaluable learning experiences as the children pounded, squeezed, rolled, and blended the clay, engaging in a sensory journey that fostered both imagination and skill.
At CPS Global School, TMZ, we embrace these hands-on activities that empower our students to explore their creativity and develop essential skills in a playful and nurturing environment.
