Water loss in plants, i.e., transpiration is a continuous process that enables plants to maintain the cooling temperature despite the factors affecting its survival in the surrounding environment. In this experiment, learners observed the before and after activity noted in plants wherein the leaves were placed in respective plastic bags as seen under the set up. Learners measured the amount of liquid trapped in the plastic bags due to transpiration and noted the colour change of anhydrous copper sulphate on reaction with it. The learners had a resourceful fun learning time wherein they analysed the water crystallization activity noted with presence of blue colour and confirmed the collected liquid in the plastic bags to be water.
