Nature always wears the colours of the spirit
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Today, the 28th of June 2023, the young learners of CPSGS-TMZ’s Early Learning Program (ELP) embarked on an exhilarating colour activity—a colour scavenger hunt. This engaging event was thoughtfully organized to impart knowledge of colours to our tiny tots in a delightful and active manner, as they embarked on a classroom adventure in search of various hues. Colour hunts, known for their adaptability and interactive nature, offer a fantastic opportunity for our little ones to make their own discoveries.
The activities were tailored to each class, encompassing Rainbow Colour Hunt, Colour Paper Hunt, and Nature Colour Hunt, all designed to captivate and thrill our wonderful learners. The Rainbow Colour Hunt enabled children to delve into the world of colours, their order, and sorting, while also providing an opportunity to construct a magnificent rainbow.
In the realm of nature, our young learners discover a wealth of knowledge through careful observation. The natural world offers a plethora of opportunities to explore texture, colour, shape, and size, nurturing their curiosity. By engaging in these activities, we aim to enhance our students’ observation skills and foster their early learning abilities in a relaxed, enjoyable, and organic manner.
This vibrant journey through colours with our ELP students encapsulates their introduction to this captivating realm. Through interactive and stimulating experiences, they are instilled with a sense of wonder and exploration.
