Play Dough helps children develop eye/hand coordination and build concepts of form and shape. It also helps connections in the brain and build cognitive skills such as understanding cause and effect and problem solving.
Also Play Dough is a wonderful sensory and learning experience for children. The squeezing, pinching and pulling movements also strengthen the child’s hand muscles and develop fine motor skills.
The children of EY2 enjoyed playing with the play dough. They took immense pleasure in giving shape to their dreamy ideas. It was fun to see the children enjoying the dough by rolling it to a design and crushing it immediately to go for the next models of their choice.
