Disney’s Creative Strategy is an excellent technique in team development. It involved exploring ideas using three different thinking stages: The Dreamer, The Realist and The Critic. As a result of the three main stages in Disney’s Creative Strategy the team reaches a solid creative idea with an action plan to apply it.
Our young minds of CAIE 5 actively took part in this fun based learning activity, Disney’s Creative Strategy: The Dreamer, The Realist and The Critic. The class was divided into 3 groups: Dreamers, Realists and Critics. Dreamers came out with their common problems faced in their day-to-day life. Realists discussed and analysed the problems faced by the Dreamers and shared their solutions. Critics evaluated the solutions given by the Realists by organizing and sorting, by considering feasibility, and by clarifying and simplifying the essence of ideas that can be implemented.
This activity helps students develop their critical thinking skills.
