“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”
To introduce the concept of nouns and get acquainted with the types of nouns in English, Our learners of CAIE 4 were put in groups. Learners were informed about the learning objective of the lesson. Clear guidance was provided before the activity. Within the stipulated time, the team members decided who will jot down the points on the note card shared by the group members and who will represent them for the presentation. Seeing our learners present their incredible, well-thought-out work in their group activity about different types of nouns with examples was a pleasure.
Responses from all groups allowed students to correct their flaws if any. Learners also learned what worked and what did not work in a team setting. The activity allowed the learners to attain the Cambridge attributes to become confident, responsible, respectful, responsive, and innovative. Also, they learned the value of ‘Collaboration’ which relates to the quote.
