Celebrating International Tiger Day: A Roaring Success at Our School

Written by cpsglobalblog

Every year on July 29, International Tiger Day is celebrated to highlight the importance of tiger conservation across the globe. As a global commitment to tiger conservation, CPS Global School conducted various activities for different grades which served as a platform to raise awareness about the challenges faced by these magnificent creatures and the efforts being made to safeguard their future. Students of grade 1 and 2, our youngest learners embarked on a colourful adventure into the world of tigers. They participated in colouring activities, where they not only had fun but also learned fascinating facts about tiger. Grade 3 had a story reading session of a tiger and his impeccable journey of finding purpose to his life of helping other animals in need. They also read some interesting facts about tigers and its types. Adding to the excitement, the students had an immersive experience visiting Kruger National Park in South Africa through a virtual wild safari. Students of grades 5 to 8 proactively participated in the inter-house poster making competition within their class working creatively with artistic excellence and crafted visually compelling messages advocating for tiger conservation. Though the students were divided as houses, they worked with a unified commitment to protect tigers and their habitats. Through these engaging and meaningful activities, we believe that the students will be empowered to become ambassadors for wildlife conservation, safeguarding our planet’s biodiversity.
