On 20th March 2025, CPS Global School marked French International Language Day with engaging activities, showcasing the beauty of the French language and its rich cultural heritage. The celebration allowed students to immerse themselves in the language, fostering a deep appreciation for French and its global significance.
The day’s festivities featured a variety of interactive activities and some of them are,
– Younger students reciting French rhymes, improving pronunciation and introducing them to melodic rhythms.
– The Tongue Twister Challenge, testing pronunciation skills and encouraging teamwork.
– A poster-making challenge, where students designed vibrant posters reflecting French culture.
– An exploration of French literature, discussing Pierre de Ronsard’s timeless poem “Quand vous serez bien vieille.”
The diverse activities allowed students to engage with French in ways, fostering a sense of connection to the language while enhancing their skills.
