On August 14, 2024, CPS Global School held a vibrant Independence Day event honoring both Indian and Korean independence. The occasion that marked 78 years of Indian Independence began with a serene prayer song and a reflective “Thought for the Day,” emphasizing the values of freedom. Attendees were updated with global and national news, providing context for the day’s significance. The heart of the event was a dual presentation in English and Korean on the importance of both nations; independence, highlighting their shared values. The tiny tots of Early Years danced to a patriotic number. Musical performances of Tamil and Hindi songs celebrated Indian heritage, while students dressed as notable figures like Dhoni, Nehru, Virat Kohli, and Sarojini Naidu, showcasing their contributions. A dynamic dance performance symbolized unity and freedom. The celebration concluded with the Korean and Indian national anthems, symbolizing the enduring spirit of independence and the strong bond between the two nations.
