The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and for our Primary students, that step began with our recent parent orientation! Filled with excitement and a shared commitment to our young learners’ education, the event proved to be a wonderful opportunity for parents to be introduced to the world of Cambridge Primary.
The orientation delved into the heart of the Cambridge Primary curriculum, its framework and its unique approach to fostering a love of learning. We explored the emphasis on critical thinking, creativity and collaboration, all essential skills for thriving in the 21st century. Parents gained insights into how these skills are woven into every subject, from Mathematics and English to Science and Art. The session also provided a roadmap for the Cambridge Primary years. We discussed the assessment process, ensuring parents understand how their child’s progress will be tracked and celebrated. Teachers from various subjects offered a glimpse into their specific programs, detailing what students can expect throughout the year.
We believe that parent involvement is paramount to a child’s success.
