Be the Voice for the Voiceless: Early Learners’ Celebration of World Animal Day

Written by cpsglobalblog

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

World Animal Day is observed every year on the 4th of October to celebrate the rights and welfare of animals worldwide. The enthusiastic celebration by the early learners of CPSGS TMZ was marked with pomp and fervour.

While the ELP-1 learners created palm prints of various animals using different colours, helping to develop their eye-hand coordination and sensory skills, the ELP-2 learners crafted a lion’s face using forks and paint, further enhancing their eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.

Following directions, the learners of ELP-3 crafted a polar bear using recycled newspaper.

To gain a better understanding of this day, ELP learners gathered and received awareness about “World Animal Day.” Adding a fun element to the event, they engaged in activities like ‘Find the Animal Shadow’ and ‘Hear Me and Find Me.’ The learners were excited to sing and perform actions to the Old McDonald Rhyme.

They were encouraged to share their learning with individuals at home and in their surroundings, which enhanced their language and communication skills.

As the theme suggests, “Big or Small, We Love Them All,” they made a promise to contribute to creating a better future for animals.
