Learning happens best when children engage in meaningful, hands-on activities. Our little learners of EY 3 at CPS Global School recently participated in a Clothes Drying Activity, where they explored an everyday life skill in a fun and interactive way.
The children were given small pieces of cloth and clothespins and were encouraged to hang them on a line just like they would at home. With great excitement and concentration, they carefully clipped each cloth onto the line. This simple activity helped them develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and finger strength, while also promoting independence.
Beyond motor development, the activity also encouraged focus, patience, and confidence as the children completed the task on their own. It was wonderful to see their joy and sense of accomplishment after successfully drying the clothes.
Activities like these help children connect classroom learning with real-life experiences, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable. Our little ones truly proved that small tasks can lead to big learning moments!
