The Thirumazhisai campus was buzzing with excitement as we hosted the much-awaited CPS Olympix Phase 2, 2025, celebrating 15 glorious years of the CPS Group of Institutions. On January 28 and 29, our campus came alive with an action-packed Inter-School Sports Day, bringing together athletes from all four branches of our group of Institutions, to showcase their talent, determination, and teamwork.

The opening ceremony was honored by our esteemed Management, with Sri. Meghanatha Reddy, IAS, as our chief guest. His inspiring speech highlighted the growing recognition of sports as a career in India, emphasizing how athletes today are achieving financial success at par with all other professions. He also celebrated the resilience of Paralympic silver medalist Thulasimathi Murugesan, whose journey embodies perseverance.

The competition on the field was fierce, and our students didn’t just participate—they shone! Our teams secured runners-up positions in both football and throwball for the Under-19 and Under-14 (boys and girls) categories, showing that we were ready to take on anyone. The energy and excitement were palpable as each event unfolded.

Our individual athletes also made us proud, clinching gold medals in their respective events! Their victories were a true reflection of their dedication, discipline, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Day 2 of Olympix 2025 was a fantastic showcase of talent, precision, and enthusiasm, as all four schools of the CPS Group came together for some electrifying performances.

The prize distribution ceremony was a proud moment for all, as our athletes celebrated their hard-earned victories. Securing first runner-up in such a competitive field was an achievement that highlighted their dedication. Olympix 2025 will certainly be etched in our memories as a landmark event in the history of CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai.

It wasn’t just about competition—it was about celebrating teamwork, resilience, and the joy of sport.

As Billie Jean King said, “Champions keep playing until they get it right.” Olympix 2025 was a true reflection of that spirit, and we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes.

What a week it was, and Olympix 2025 will continue to inspire us for years to come!
