India is the largest democracy in the world. Through student council elections we make students ready for their future. Students go through different stages and processes similar to real-life political elections.
Interested students first registered themselves as candidates for elections. Ensuingly students had to undergo an arduous interview, elucidate their plan of action to the panel members. As a result, 12 were shortlisted out of the 24 candidates. To earn the voter’s interest the candidates had to demystify their strategies through crowd and class campaigning. The candidates exhibited extravagant public speaking , leadership and time management skills.
Through student council elections we make students think critically as they will also choose their leaders wisely in the future which will bring progressive changes in our country.
