In today’s world of advanced technology, communication has become an essential part of our lives. We can now easily connect with people across the globe—and remarkably, even with those in space. Thanks to this technological progress, our CIE 6–8 students had a unique opportunity during flex time to watch a video featuring a live conversation with Mr. Subhanshu Shukla, the second Indian astronaut to travel to space.
It was a truly fascinating experience for the students to hear Mr. Shukla’s live audio message directly from the International Space Station (ISS). They were especially intrigued by the realities of living in microgravity and learned that communication with the ISS is only possible when it passes near our country. This enriching experience sparked a strong interest in space science among the students. They eagerly began framing thoughtful questions they would ask a future astronaut traveling to the ISS. This event not only ignited their curiosity but also inspired them to dream beyond boundaries—proving once again that with advancing technology, even the sky is no longer the limit.
