Do it now. Sometimes ‘later’ becomes ‘never.’
Procrastination is a common challenge that many students face. Understanding and overcoming this habit can lead to significant personal growth and academic success. To address this important topic, our vibrant CIE 3C students participated in an insightful skit titled “Procrastination: A Lesson Through Skit.”
The skit was divided into two scenes. In the first scene, which took place at home, Sharvesh repeatedly postponed his homework and disobeyed his mother’s reminders. Despite her encouragement, he chose to engage in other activities, leaving his schoolwork incomplete.
In the second scene, set at school, Sharvesh faced the consequences of his procrastination. When the teacher asked for his homework, he stammered and admitted that he had not completed it. As a result, the teacher punished Sharvesh by requiring him to finish his homework during break time. Through this experience, Sharvesh learned a valuable lesson about the importance of prioritizing his work and not procrastinating.
This engaging activity not only highlighted the negative impact of procrastination but also emphasized the rewards of timely action and responsibility. By portraying these real-life scenarios, our young minds gained insights into managing their time effectively, fostering a habit of responsibility and self-discipline.
Action is the antidote to procrastination.
