An interesting activity was done by students of IGYR2 on the topic of Jumping frog probability.

Yuvansh and Naomi presented and explained the possibilities of frog jumping on the following puzzle:

Students actively participated in a probability scenario solving this activity, where they engaged in practical applications of mathematical concepts such as calculating probabilities of event of a frog jumping through a middle square, a corner square and an edge square that is not a corner square. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on calculations, they gained a deeper understanding of how probability works in real-world scenarios, fostering both analytical skills and critical thinking. This brought out the learning objective of how to enhance problem-solving abilities by tackling complex scenarios involving dependent events, considering multiple factors that influence outcomes, and determining the most probable outcomes in practical situations.
