Our little stars of ELP1-CPSGS TMZ, had taken a small step to climb the ladder
of academics, through learning Pre Math concepts and shapes. To make Math
easy, fun and interesting, the little ones were involved in learning shapes
through an activity using colourful papers, chart and glue. They used small cut
outs of different shapes to make a beautiful bird, a cute cat and what not!
This activity promoted the development of the child’s spatial awareness.
Learning shapes in this way helped children identify and organize visual
information apart from enhancing their Mathematical skills. This activity on
‘Shapes’ helped them reinforce their understanding of the two dimensional
concept in a fun filled way.
