Pongal is a festive occasion to give thanks to the sun deity for a fruitful harvest. Pongal marks the end of the winter solstice and the beginning of the harvest season. The festival holds significant cultural and social importance, fostering a sense of unity and community among people. Our tiny tots dressed up colourfully in traditional attire. They were actively engaged in traditional games like hop-scotch (paandi) and uriyadi, leaving priceless memories with us. Our little ones enjoyed making poha pongal.
Wishing you and your family a very happy Pongal. “Pongalo Pongal”.
