On September 13, 2024, students from CIE 8 to IBDP 2 at CPS Global School Thirumazhisai joined an inspiring crowd funding session led by Mr. Ranganath Thota, Founder and CEO of Fuel a Dream. Mr. Thota introduced the science of crowd funding, stressing the importance of financial stability in helping communities. With mentorship and practical tips provided by the Fuel a Dream team, the students embarked on a mission to raise funds for eco-friendly back-to-school kits for underprivileged children in Thiruvallur.
In just a few weeks, their campaign became a resounding success. A total of 49 students raised an impressive INR 784,061, surpassing their goal of INR 684,000, with support from 391 generous contributors. This initiative positively impacted 825 rural students, proving that with the right guidance and determination, young minds can truly make a difference in their communities.
