“Neither can embellishments of language be found without arrangement and expression of thoughts, nor can thoughts be made to shine without the light of language.”
Elocution refers to one’s capacity of communicating with others, incorporating powerful thoughts and excellent vocabulary in their speech. We at CPS, conducted the intense intergroup elocution competition on the 16th of July, 2021. ‘Gadgets have restricted children’s imaginations’ was the thought provoking topic the students had to prepare for. The competition was unfurled with a welcome speech followed by clarifying the rules of the competition.
The students were well prepared and participated in the competition with ardor. The participants exhibited perfect nuances and finer points that go into making a public speech interesting and captivating. It was indeed exhilarating to watch our students stand tall with optimism and confidence while delivering their speech. Students were encouraged by the judges’ inspiring words and thoughts. It was a great platform for the students to showcase their thoughts and opinions.
The competition was concluded by determining the best speaker based on the content and speaking presentation.
