“Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.” — Maggie Kuhn
The much-anticipated Debating Duel 2025 for Upper Primary students took place on March 14, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on our young orators. This prestigious event, where each house was represented by a team of three speakers, was a true test of intellect, confidence, and persuasive prowess.
Following the preliminary rounds on March 10, 2025, the final debate featured the best young debaters, ready to showcase their eloquence. The topic up for discussion was “Technology makes people less productive.” The stage was set, and the battle of ideas began!
Each speaker had precisely presented their arguments, ensuring a crisp and engaging discourse. After the initial presentations, a 2-minute rebuttal session commenced, where speakers were challenged to counter their opponents’ points with logic and conviction. The young debaters were tasked with upholding decorum by refraining from rebuttals during the initial presentations.
The audience witnessed a compelling clash of perspectives.
With the power of their words, our students sought to move mountains and inspire generations. It was an exhilarating session filled with passion, intellect, and teamwork. Each debater spoke with confidence, making it a truly memorable event.
We applaud all participants for their dedication and eloquence. Let us continue to empower young minds to think critically and speak boldly!
