BLUE is a cool and calming colour that is associated with freedom, imagination and inspiration.It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for our Early learners! The dress code of the day was blue. Excitement and enthusiasm ran high everywhere as all the children came dressed up in shades and hues of blue and were observing each other! The importance of blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities and children were introduced to different shades of blue colour palette. Multitude of blue coloured objects were showcased thus providing the students opportunities to have a clear sense of the colour. Blue Day was an amazing learning experience and the wrap up activity, leaving a blue coloured hand print to create the blue sea, has not only helped them to get an everlasting recognition about the colour but also stimulated their creativity and imagination. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s development.
