The academic year at CPS Global School began on June 2nd with warmth, enthusiasm, and a strong focus on professional development. Teachers were welcomed back with an inspiring address by the Head of School, setting the tone for a purposeful and collaborative year ahead.
The week featured a series of insightful sessions designed to empower and equip our faculty. Ms. Kumud Kedia opened with a session on Strategies for Teaching, Learning & Wellness, emphasizing the importance of balancing pedagogy with teacher well-being. Ms. Subhashini followed with a session on Approaches to Teaching and Learning (ATL), strengthening understanding of inquiry-based learning practices.
Project-Based Learning took center stage as Mr. Sathyamoorthy, IGCSE Coordinator, and Ms. Indira, EY–Middle School Coordinator, led a practical and engaging workshop on student-centered methodologies. Adding creative flair, Ms. Aadhirai, EY Team Lead, guided teams in designing model eco-friendly schools, bringing sustainability into focus.
Mr. Sathya Tetali inspired with his session Recipe to Success, encouraging teachers to face challenges with resilience and purpose. Ms. Priya from HR provided clarity on institutional policies and staff expectations.
Dr. Sachin and his team from SUPERBHUMANS, conducted an interactive session on Grooming, Communication, Teamwork & Professionalism, nurturing leadership and collaboration. Creativity and innovation continued with Ms. Dhai Abhinaya’s ideas on classroom decor, followed by hands-on IT training on Senses Panel and Educloud by Ms. Mohannapriya and Ms. Revathy.
The week concluded with a powerful session by Mr. Sathyamoorthy on Teaching Right and Leading Right, using real-life classroom experiences to reinforce effective leadership.
This dynamic start to the year not only built capacity but also reignited the collective passion for teaching. With renewed energy and direction, CPSGS looks forward to a vibrant year of learning and growth.
