Written by cpsglobalblog

Students from EY 3, CIE 1, and CIE 2 went on an amazing field trip to Guindy Children’s Park, where they explored a variety of species. They saw a variety of birds, including the Indian White Ibis and Rainbow Lorikeet, as well as reptiles including the Indian Cobra, Rock Python, and Russell’s viper. They also came across species including the Red-eared Slider Turtle, Porcupine, and Jungle Cat.
As part of International World Wildlife Day, children saw an audio-visual presentation about conservation, learning about the Agasthyarmalai Elephant Sanctuary, the Ramsar Dugong Conservation Centre, and the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Forest officers held a lesson to raise awareness about wild and domestic animals.
Students liked observing monkeys, crocodiles, and other creatures. The tour ended with a collective portrait, inspiring students to love and protect environment. Overall, the educational experience was intriguing.
