The event focused on building connections, setting expectations, and sharing our commitment to nurturing confident, globally-minded learners.
The orientation began with a warm greeting and introduction, followed by a clear outline of the day’s objectives. The emphasis was on helping parents understand the Cambridge approach to teaching and learning, which encourages curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning. The session highlighted the shared responsibility between school and parents in shaping students not just as achievers but as global citizens.
An engaging segment was dedicated to introducing the Cambridge Learner Attributes, which guide our students to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged. These values remain at the heart of our curriculum and are integrated into everyday learning experiences.
A key highlight was a session that offered valuable insights into the Grade 5 Checkpoint examination and assessment structure. This helped parents gain clarity on how progress is tracked and supported throughout the year.

Teachers across subjects introduced themselves and shared subject-specific goals and expectations, including assignments, assessments, and grading practices. The Mathematics session offered a structured overview of key concepts and skills. Science was presented through the lens of inquiry-based learning, with a focus on understanding and applying concepts. The session also introduced the wide array of Extra-Curricular Activities, such as archery, music, and chess, showcasing the school’s commitment to holistic development.
In Social Studies, parents were given insight into how learners explore the world through interdisciplinary themes and real-life connections. The ICT(Information & Communication Technology) session highlighted the development of digital literacy and responsible technology usage. The Art and Design presentation emphasized creativity and expression through various mediums, while the Physical Education segment underscored the importance of physical well-being, sportsmanship, and personal grooming.
A dedicated session outlined the responsibilities of stakeholders, including updates on weekly logs, school timings, etiquette, breaks, and parent-school communication protocols, all designed to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the academic journey.
The orientation concluded with an open Q&A session, allowing parents to clarify their doubts and establish open lines of communication with the school faculty.
