Exploring Shapes, Strokes, and Numbers with EY2

Our curious EY2 children had an exciting hands-on experience with Clay Modelling as they explored shapes, strokes, and numbers in a fun and creative way!

With colourful clay in their hands, the little learners enthusiastically rolled, pressed, and shaped their way through basic concepts. They formed simple 2D shapes like circles, squares, and triangles, practiced pre-writing strokes like standing, sleeping, and slanting lines, and even created numbers using clay!

This engaging activity not only strengthened the children’s fine motor skills but also helped reinforce early math and writing concepts in a playful and meaningful way. As they shaped their ideas into reality, they expressed themselves with creativity, joy, and pride.
It was truly heart-warming to see their faces light up as they moulded, shaped, and created with growing confidence and enthusiasm!
