The Power of Words: CIE 3A’s Poetic Expression @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”

The students of CIE 3A beautifully presented their class assembly on the thought-provoking theme “Words Are Seeds.” The assembly revolved around an expressive poem that explored four powerful emotions—kindness, anger, love, and jealousy—reminding us how words shape these feelings and, in turn, our actions. Each student portrayed a different emotion, showing how words can heal or hurt, uplift or break, build or destroy.

The performance was both emotional and educational, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. It encouraged everyone—students and teachers alike—to pause and think about the impact their words can have on others. Just like seeds, words grow; and what we plant in the minds and hearts of others through our speech is entirely up to us.

Let’s choose to plant hope, care, and respect every day.

“Raise your words, not voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.”
