Learners had fun strengthening their understanding of tally marks and frequency through an engaging “Tally Match” activity. Working in pairs, they picked tally mark cards from a mixed set, carefully counted the marks by recognising groups of five, and matched each card with its corresponding frequency card. As they matched the pairs, learners explained how they arrived at each answer, developing their counting accuracy, observation skills, and mathematical reasoning.
